Essential sensors supplied by Greenspec
Sensor data are sent with a frequency of up to 10 times per second over an optical fibre network to the computer. The returning commands from the computer are sent over the optical fibre with the same speed. So you can control the greenhouse with these commands that are sent to the electronic units. Greensec manufactures some sensors itself.
But here a selection of essential sensor supplied but not manufactured by Greenspec: for indoor and outdoor climate and for water. Our software can adapt to most other sensors as well with the flexible settings for range and input type.
Sensors for monitoring inside the greenhouse
Greenspec supplies several essential sensors for monitoring inside of the greenhouse. We are always looking for reliable sensors that measure the data you need for the regulation of your greenhouse. Your installer can give details of some even more specialised essential sensors, for instance to monitor air pressure.

For the monitoring of temperature and humidity inside of the greenhouse Greenspec makes an integrated unit, the Nano SHT. We also provide a separate temperature and humidity sensor.
Essential sensors for the ambient weather
For the monitoring of meteo data we provide the compact WSC11, that is an integrated sensor. But we offer also individual sensors.
Greenspec supplies a combined wind speed and wind direction sensor from Davis.
We supply a good radiation sensor.
For rain we offer three different devices: first of all an innovative simple and cheap Rain sensor, that works with light reflection in a housing and has no problems with bird droppings.
Then we offer a classical rain water counter and a new device that measures rain intensity.
