Greenspec hardware to set-up your system

The three main elements of the Greenspec hardware:

One central computer with electronic input and output units connected by the optical line:

First of all you select how many of the electrical input and output units you need. Greenspec supplies several types of these units, all called AFP: agricultural function print. They contain 5 to 63 outputs and 0 to 20 inputs.

We have two options for the central computer, called the GSC, Greenspec System Control.

Everything is connected with an optical fibre communication system. The communication goes over the opto connector present both on the AFP and the GSC.

Then we have a  line of sensors that are manufactured or adapted to our specifications. And we can provide for you several handy sensors from other suppliers for the greenhouse. And NEW: our own compact fertilizer mixer, complete with I/O unit.

The Greenspec hardware is modular. You can start with a computer and only one or two AFP.

Each time you enlarge your greenhouse it is easy to put one or more extra AFPs in the line and connect them with the computer. The hardware is recognized over the optical line in the computer and the installer can quickly set the right conditions.

Once the system is connected you can adjust the software. You only buy a different version of the software if you have to go from the limited to the full edition. Because new updates are available for clients every 6 months you can stay up-to-date.

Greenspec has launched a new compact but very complete mixing station that is regulated by our own greenhouse automation system. We now add options for larger systems within the same high quality concept.
New: the Greenspec app that gives you always quick access to some essential data as soon as you load it. Try the new version. It will save you a lot of time in giving a quick data access.
