The AFP 63 output unit is a practical building block
Add the AFP 63 output unit in a greenhouse to the AFP standard 20/20.
You buy a box with 63 outputs: 54 are NC (normally closed), the other 9 can be either NC or NO (normally open):
This is very practical for switching on and off many lights, pumps, valves.
In a small greenhouse without climate regulation you can often do with only one AFP63 combined with an AFP Lite. This is a very economical option.
The AFP 63 comes in the same housing as the standard AFP 20/20. It can of course simply be connected by the optical fibre to the other AFPs and to the computer. Upon installation the computer software will then simply recognise the AFP63.

Main applications
The AFP63 is especially practical for fertigation and for light functions. In both functions you will have many electrical outputs, so you would need many standard AFP02. This is because you must switch on and off the lights, or the pumps and valves. So the AFP 63 saves you installation time and money.
Greenspec has a very flexible light software feature. You can plan to switch the light on and off according to time, radiation, temperature. As well as plan periods, groups to activate. And then you can even set the priority for the plants if energy is at its limit. The generators can be activated. Normally your only input is the radiation and temperature.
In the ferti water unit you will set the function of multiple valves and several pumps. Greenspec can handle multiple sources very easily. The water will then go to to many different water groups. You can also choose between ebb and flood tables or drippers. The inputs here are typically the EC, the pH, but also some climate sensors.
To read the measured values of some inputs, like radiation or temperature think about combining the AFP 63 with one AFP Lite, which comes cheap with 7 inputs.
